entrevista com a francesca dani

>>1 - how started its career of model?

Well actually it came out naturally after I started as cosplayer,
because I was having so much fun posing for photos while I was cosplaying.
So it was exciting to me to try to pose for different costumes or to
prepare original characters to model with.

>>2 - Which cosplay you more than liked to make?

Well lately I liked a lot my Misa Amane cosplay, from Death Note, It
was fun to make and great to play cause I think the character fits me
very well and fans enjoyed it.

>>3 - Which was its first cosplay?

My first one was Super Sailor Moon, a character that I loved so much
when I was a teenager, and I still love. It was an easy choice also
for my appearance that is so similiar to Usagi, so I looked at myself
as perfect for the role.
Actually I did it twice, cause the first one I did in 1998 was pretty
raw ( I made it in 3 days) and I wanted to make it new and better 8
years later so that I could be finally satisfied to have done one of
my favourite characters in the best way possible.

>>4 - How appeared the idea to make cosplay?

Well It wasn't my idea but a friend of mine pushed me very hard to do
it, at the time, 10 years ago, I was very shy and even if I had a
pretty good skill to make costumes I wasn't brave enough to wear it
at cons, so I did it for her a couple of times, but after she
persuaded me to do it, and I had so much fun in my first convention I
couldn't stop anymore.

>>5 - You like Japanese drawings?

Yes, I like it very much, I used to read a lot of mangas in the past
even if now I don't have so much time to do it anymore, I also like
to draw myself and my artwork are of course japanese style ;)

>>6 - You have many Brazilian fans and tie community in orkut done
>>for Brazilians, as you you see this admiration that they has for you?

I'm so thankful to all my brazilian fans because I think they are
great, Brazil is one of the top countries in the world for cosplay
and I appreciate very much the support I have from brazilan friends!
I love your country and I hope I will have chance to come back there soon!

>>7 - You participate of the community?

I have accounts in myspace, orkut, these are my REAL accounts:

>>8 - How they had been the writings of dvd?

It was a very hard work for us to make it, video is not like photos
you have much more things to keep in control and much more work to do.
Shoot it took months of work and sometimes it was really extreme,
like the main outdoor photoshooting with the Lucifer costume (the one
of the cover).
It was late November, a very cold and windy day and we had to climb
to the old ruins of a Castle that is on the top of an high rocky
hill. We shoot the photos up there and I was freezing with that
costme, we had to do it really quickly cause my skin was becoming
blue ( But the place was so beautiful and it turned out in really
cool photos.
Then the postproduction of all the material took almost 3 months,
very stressing ;)
But now I'm so happy and I like very much how it came out and all
people who already saw it are paying us back with their enthusiastic comments.

>>9 - Which and the content of dvd?

The DVD contains a video documentary about my career in cosplay, with
footage of my last travels in Mexico and Brazil and also new footage
shot exclusively for that video.
Plus it contains 7 videoclips, that (expecially the last ones) can be
considered quite as short movies. One of those is made exclusively
for the dvd and can be found only there, while the others are high
quality versions of the one you can see on the member section of my
website, then you also find the HD 720p version of the last 2
videoclips to watch on your pc in high definition.
Then it contains backstage videos, 5 exclusive photosets plus a
selection of the best photosets from the website (for a total of 272
high quality photos).
So the disc is really full of stuff to see and I think it should
satisfy everyone out there that wants to give it a look.

>>10 - It will be available in Portuguese?

Unfortunately it's not translated in portuguese, but the only content
with subtitles is the documentary (that is in italian, subtitled in
english, spanish and japanese) while all the other contents have no
words, so everybody can fully enjoy it.

>>11 - When it will be available in Brazil?

I hope soon, just check out my website and you will soon have news.

>>12 - you already it made some work for the television?

Several years ago I made an apparition on japanese television, but it
was quite embarassing ^_^; then I went on tv, always in japan, when I
won the WCS in 2005
I was on mexican tv to promote the convention I was invited to, but
that's all about tv, I never had many chances to work for tv, and I
don't know if I really am interested in it.
By the way isn't internet the future of tv? Looking at youtube
success it looks like this is the new frontier of video enterteinment.

>>13 - You appear in a photo to the side of the actor Samuel L.
>>Jackson, you and friend of it?

Sure, I'm a very close friend of Samuel's wax statue. lol! :)
That photo was taken in London, at Madame Toussaud's was museum,
actually the statue looked like it was really him, but I didn't know
people was really thinkin I know him.
^_^

>>like to know if you already it was invited to posar for playboy?
